WHERE WE'RE GOING

Our mission is to know and love Jesus Christ, and equip His followers in making Him known.

We believe in:

  • God, the Father - Creator of Heaven and Earth, whose will is our peace and who loves to bless His children. (Gen 1:1, Ps 29:11)
  • God, the Son - Who became flesh in Jesus Christ, who died for us on the cross, who returned to life from the dead, who is our living and returning Lord and the only path to eternal life.(1 Cor 15:3-5, John 1:14, 14:6)
  • God, the Holy Spirit - Who is with us and in us, guiding, empowering, inspiring, and equipping us for worship and service. He is the one who transforms us. (John 14:24, 16:13)
  • The Bible - God's written word to us, and our unfailing guide in faith and practice. (2 Tim 3:14-17)
  • The Church - God's people at worship and at work, at home and throughout the world, the body of Christ. (Heb 10:24-25, Acts 4:32, 1 Cor 1:2)
  • The Reformed Faith - With emphasis on the sovereignty of God, who is King of kings and Lord of lords. (Psalm 113:4-5)

We value:

  • A variety of worship expressions: music, the arts, our surroundings, silence.
  • Personal holiness and the practice of a Christian worldview.
  • The Bible, holding all ideas and thoughts under God's standard of truth.
  • Small groups for support, study, discipleship and outreach.
  • Sharing of time, talents, and treasures within the church, our community, and the world.
  • The place of friendships in God's work.
  • The uniqueness of individuals and the importance of families.
  • The gifts of the Holy Spirit for service of our Lord.
  • Servant leadership by men, women, and youth called by God to serve.
  • Participation with the larger/extended Body of Christ locally, nationally, and internationally.
  • Partnerships in outreach and ministry in and through relationships.
  • Christ's commission to take the Gospel to people near and fars
