

Local/State Acorn Foundation of Corvallis exists to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to demonstrate God’s love through community development, the support of public education, recreation and the arts, and the provision of social services. Our community center is located on Division Street, three blocks east of Calvin Church. Comunity Garden Calvin sponsors a community garden on our property. Options Pregnancy Resource Centers contend with grace for the hearts of all we serve, and for the lives of the unborn. We seek to empower people to make life-affirming decisions, assist those unprepared for parenthood with personalized care and resources, promote spiritual and emotional healing, and advocate for sexual purity. Compassion Ministries seeks to educate the faith community in Linn and Benton counties regarding mental illness and its many issues. It also offers support to people with mental illness, and their families. Christian Education for the Developmentally Disabled offers education and fellowship opportunities in Corvallis for adults with developmental disabilities. Mending Wings is the ministry of Steve and Karen Luten to children and families among the Yakima Nation of eastern Washington. The Lutens are former members of Calvin Church. Holy Temple Ministries is an outreach to the community of Tylertown, Miss., with whom a mission team from Calvin Church partnered following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Campus Crusade for Christ is an interdenominational ministry committed to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. We cooperate with Christians from churches of many denominations and hundreds of other Christian organizations around the world to help Christians grow in their faith and share the Gospel message. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is an evangelical campus mission serving more than 35,000 students and faculty on more than 560 college and university campuses nationwide, including Oregon State University.
