Carol was raised in a Christian home and taken to church every week by her parents for as long as she can remember; however, one Sunday when she was 14, my Sunday School teacher made a statement that changed her life forever. He said that it was possible to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
Carol thought, “Why didn’t someone tell me this before?”
Since that morning, following Jesus has been her priority.
Carol has been married to Marc for more than 45 years. They have two grown children and two granddaughters.
Calvin has been their home since they moved to Corvallis in March 1990.
Since high school, she has been called to ministry through teaching children and adults about Jesus.
Carol has led the women’s Bible study at Calvin for more than 35 years.
