Marta McCracken
Ruling Elder
Marta was raised in a Christian home. her parents were active in the church throughout their lives and instilled that dedication in their children. She believed in Jesus from an early age.
However, it wasn't until her late 20s that she understood more fully what it meant to love and follow Jesus. She is blessed to have a believing husband, Mel. The McCrackens have lived in Corvallis since 1998.
They joined Calvin Presbyterian Church on the recommendation from their pastor in Hillsboro who knew the pastor of Calvin at the time.
As a retired teacher, Marta feels called to serve others. She hopes that her participation as an elder is a service to her brothers and sisters in Christ.
