Melba Lingenfelter

Melba grew up going to church but didn’t truly understand her need for a savior until high school through involvement in Young Life. Until then, she kept up external appearances by living a moral life while her internal life was filled with judgment of others and self-justification.
She met her husband, Andy, in college. They have been married for more than 30 years with three adult children.
Melba has had three careers: a labor/delivery and ICU nurse, a homeschool teacher, and now a tutor for students with dyslexia.
Melba and Andy moved from North Carolina to Texas, and then to Oregon in 2018.
They’ve always led small groups at the churches they’ve attended in order to continue their spiritual and human growth and transformation.
