Praying for USA Homestays

On August 30, We prayed for our ministry partner, USA Homestays, staffed by Calvin members Garrett and Mindy Smith.

Please continue to pray for:

  • Students arriving the week of September 14. The Smiths will help them get situated and hopefully introduce them to the Oregon coast for a day at the beach. Pray for communication and a warm welcome.

  • Homeschooling. The Smiths will homeschool both biological and foster children this school year. Pray for discernment about how best to accomodate them.

  • Rest. From September 22-27 Garrett and Mindy will take a 5-day trip to the mountains without children to pray for this fall and focus our heart on God amidst this season of transition.

  • God to bring students with open, hungry hearts to live at Bethel.
